Charlotte (she/her), specialises in emerging destinations, African tourism and global hotel launches – communicated through a responsible travel lens.
As a linguist, Charlotte has always been interested in international travel and immersing herself in new cultures. Her French and Spanish degree took her abroad to live and work in France, Mexico and Spain, leading her to take the natural next step into the tourism industry.
Over the course of her career, Charlotte has led strategic communications campaigns and high-profile events for her clients - a career highlight being her work with the Sierra Leone tourist board, which involved launching its tourism strategy and repositioning the destination in UK and European markets. By educating media and challenging misconceptions of Sierra Leone, she secured over 400 pieces of coverage in titles such as National Geographic Traveller, The Times, Conde Nast Traveller and Wanderlust, putting Sierra Leone firmly on the map.
In her current role at Lemongrass, Charlotte is the account lead across a range of international travel clients, using her contact book to generate purpose-driven results for clients including Steppes Travel, Selective Asia, Vivosa, ARC and Kimpton BEM Budapest.
In her spare time, Charlotte can be found cooking extravagant dishes she’s learnt on her travels, attending gigs, art exhibitions and theatre shows, and enjoying a nice pint in the pub with friends. She is the resident holiday planner in her friendship group and was lucky enough to spend two months travelling around India with her partner in 2025. Next on the bucket list… Brazil!
