After many years working in HR and Recruitment, Tori (she/her) headed off to India with a one-way ticket and no return date planned. Now at Lemongrass she is able to combine both her work experience with her passion for travel.
At Lemongrass Tori supports both the CEO and team with all things HR, diary management, travel and recruitment. Tori also spearheaded our journey to B Corp Certification, and builds and maintains relationships with clients across the globe.
In her spare time she loves to travel and explore new cultures and cuisines. She is always listening to jazz music, enjoying the theatre or a spa and has ran a marathon or two for charity. Sharing a prosecco with family and friends is when she is most happy, and loves being with her rescue Bindi, the lucky black cat.
What is a Carbon Commitment?
At Lemongrass, we advocate for carbon pledges, personal commitments to reduce emissions within our organisation. We believe in collective efforts to combat climate change and aim to achieve net zero by 2038. Each team member has pledged specific actions to reduce carbon emissions, reinforcing our shared commitment to sustainability and bringing us closer to our net zero goal. Tori’s Carbon Commitments:
- Reduce emails internally and externally, unsubscribing to avoid all the spam emails.
- Become paperless, HR/Induction/Expenses are all completed online now.
- Arrange plant-based lunches for the team for monthly lunch and learns and provide plant-based options for teams socials.
- Roll out team carbon budgets for travel and combine trips and meetings to reduce travel.
- Educate clients/partners on BCorp, joining other sustainable communities, events, webinars.
- Complete the 100 point challenge.
