The Austrian capital of Vienna is a city of spectacular art and music, inspiring visitors from all generations. The vineyards, parks and woods contrasted with the beautiful Imperial buildings that the city is known for, create a spectacular collage of rural meets urban life. The city of Vienna is consistently voted as one of the best cities to live in, frequently coming out on top of the Global Liveability Index, which measures factors such as culture, environmental and infrastructure.

With the introduction of the city’s 2025 Visitor Economy Strategy, Vienna is working on redefining tourism and the effects of it on the capital, prioritising sustainable development and growth whilst balancing the happiness and needs of both its visitors and residents.

In 2023, Vienna will celebrate the 150th anniversary of the 1873 Vienna World’s Fair. An event that includes numerous exhibitions in famous Viennese museums as well as special anniversaries, spectacular new openings, and long-anticipated re-openings. All this awaits you in Vienna in 2023.
